• KBC Club and Resort Pvt. Ltd. have collected money from more than 10,000 investors in Nashik District alone.
• The company was offering double your money in 3 years.
• It is understood that the Regulator/Police had knowledge about the cheating/ fraud but ignoring the same allowed the promoters to loot the people.
• This is the Saradha Chit Fund Scam of Maharashtra.
• Thousands of families uprooted, three suicides and the casualties going on

General Manager of Central Railway today informed Dr.Kirit Somaiya that they have started investigation in connection with Konkan Railway Reservation Scam.
• 2500 tickets issued only in 2 minutes.
• 20% thru Internet Reservation. More than 80% reserved at Ticket Window.
• 250 tickets has been cancelled within 2 days after investigation ordered.
• GM assured that the investigation will be completed in one week and then action will be taken thereon.

Dr.Somaiya and delegation also demanded action against the Nalla Safai contractors responsible for the chaos due to water logging.

Dr. Kirit Somaiya along with Ramesh Sakpal (victims father) lodged FIR for criminal negligence at Vikhroli Police Station. Demanded Judicial Investigation. During the recruitment process irresponsible act has caused 5 deaths, and injury to many recruits due to inhuman condition at the recruitment spots at two places at Vikhroli Highway.
1) Complaint against the responsible officers of police recruitment activity for the injury and death of recruits u/sec 304(A), 319, 320, 34 OF IPC.
2) Criminal negligence of Government/officers u/Sec IPC Sec.166 A.166 B. 304, 304 A, 337 & 338

Dr. Kirit Somaiya filed a Petition with the Human Rights Commission on the Police Recruitment Incident-Cruelty where 4 applicants died due to sun stroke.

Citing gross violations of Human Rights Dr. Somaiya and Adv. Yashodeep urged the Commission for relief-rehabilitation for the victims’ families.

The Human Rights Commission has asked the State Govt. to respond within 2 weeks.

Dr.Kirit Somaiya visited the Police recruitment spot and observed the horrible conditions of physique test at Vikhorili highway:
• Thousand unemployed youth appearing for physical test at Vikhroli and other places.
• Horrible situation/ due to scorching heat and humidity 4 applicants died of sun stroke in last 3 days.
• No seniors yet visited, taken corrective measures.
• The situation is horrible, panic.

Dr.Somaiya strongly demanded Judicial investigation, Financial compensation/rehabilitation to/of affected families, Immediate action.

Dr.Somaiya also have announced financial help of Rs.1 lakh each to 4 affected families, who have lost their young one.

Dr.Somaiya met Hon.Governor of Maharashtra and demanded immediate action thereon.
