Yuvak Pratishthan is having a strong network of 450 CBO’s all over Mumbai, especially in Suburbs. Yuvak Pratishthan's diversified image will be useful while working on 'Slum Interventions'. Yuvak Pratishthan thus works on Macro Level as well as Micro Level simultaneously.

Take example of Hepatitis B Free Mumbai Campaign in which vaccination of Hepatitis B was done at very concessional rate. Yuvak Pratishthan could organise camps on its own at many slums, engaging doctors and paramedical staff for the purpose & could have managed to complete ten lacs vaccinations in three years with this arrangement. But Yuvak Pratishthan motivated CBO’s to take-up this activity & we succeded in completing more that 30 lacs vaccinations in just two years. Not only this, the success ratio of this complete vaccination course was (1st, 2nd & 3rd Dose) more than 75%, which would not have been possible through Yuvak Pratishthan's work alone. It is also sure that the impact of vaccination campaign was tremendous due to involvement of CBO’s.

Hepatitis B Free Mumbai (20th April 2000)

Vaccination of Hepatitis B at very concessional rate of Rs. 25/- per child per dose was carried out and got place in Limca Book of Records for highest number of vaccinations by any NGO. Completed more than 31 lac vaccinations in 2 years.

Stress was given on Children from slums and downtrodden areas.
Motivated the Rich and the Higher Middle Class to take vaccination (through their own sources).

Effective usage of CBO’s was the main strategy to have successful campaign.
Evaluation of campaign was done by TISS and showed that this was the most successful campaign in terms of percentage of 1st, 2nd & 3rd Doses.
