Sub : Natural Calamity – Heavy Flood in Mumbai-Maharashtra

We are sure The Union Govt taking steps to help, support Maharashtra to fight the recent Flood. We would like to request following steps be taken immediately to help & support People of Maharashtra to over come the Natural Calamity.

GOI should take initiative to support,cordinate ,contribute to bring back the business,trading,industrial activities to normal.More than 10 lacs commercial,business establishments seems to have suffered.It seems that otherwise it will take more than 3 months to restart the these activities.This will have another problem for 10 lacs workers involved in these organisations

1. Special Insurance Settlement programme be declared to settle the claims

2. Immidiate Relief of & upto Rs 1 Lac Insurance claim

3. Special Financial Package ,Support to Small Traders

4. Special Interest Free Loan Package to Small Workshops, Small Industries

5. Converting Working Capital into Term Loans

6. Rescheduling & Extension of time for Long term & Short Term Loans Re-payments

7. Relaxation of NPA guidelines for Banks & Financial Institutions for the Current Year         

8. Providing Short Term & Additional Working Capital Finance support

9. 100 % Income Tax exemption to the Donations for Relief & Rehabilitation.Donations to NGO’s & Govt Organisations be exempted fully.

10. Special Financial Support to Small Self-Employed people such as Hawkers,Auto Rickshas,Taximen,Self  Employed Women doing Smal Business Activities / Job Work in their House

We would request GOI to have coordination with RBI, Banks, Financial Institutions, NABARD, IRDA, Insurance Companies, SIDBI, Maharashtra Govt. & others.Special Package declared during the Natural Calamity of Kutchh, Sunami & Floods in Orissa, Gujarat be studied & implemented for Maharashtra.

We are sure GOI will take the necessary steps Urgently
