Foundation
This organisation was founded in the
memory of Lt. Jayantilal Somaiya, father of Kirit
Somaiya. The institution so far arranged more than
100 free medical check-up camps in which more than
25,000 persons were medically checked and were provided
with free medicines. Poor and needy patients were
given assistance for major operations. The Eye check-up
camps were also arranged in which 35 patients were
operated for cataract. The organisation also honored
10 doctors with 'Dhanwantari Awards' for their contributions
in medical and social fields.

Mandal
Kirit Somaiya and his wife Medha Somaiya
started a rehabilitation centre in Mulund for the
mentally retarded children. The children were trained
to produce household articles like envelopes, food
items etc. and the material was subsequently marketed.
This program was initiated in presence of well-known
freedom fighter Dattaji Tamhane. Drawing - Painting
competition, Essay competition, Dance competition,
Sweeming camps organized by Bhartiya Tatvagyan Vishwas
Mandal, got excellent response. For ladies the camps
and seminars on topics like 'Personality Development',
'Reiki', 'Yoga', 'Cooking', etc. were arranged.
Mulund Sanskar Bharati
Mulund Sanskar Bharati is a social
organisation engaged in promoting indian culture.
It also orgainises programs like 'Dandiya Raas
Competition' during Navratri Festival and 'Best
Decoration Competition' during Ganeshotsava.
