Hundreds of demonstrators held demonstration at MSEB
Regional Head Office at Bhandup to protest
against load shedding during the examination
time. Demonstrators
were led by BJP leader, Dr. Kirit Somaiya
with the slogan :
EXAM TIME BIJLI GUL
– KAISE LAAYENGE MARKS FULL
VIDYARTHI HAIRAN -
PALAK PARESHAN
Demonstrators included students, parents, teachers and BJP
activists.
Dr. Somaiya questioned the Government
that HSC examinations are starting tomorrow.
Mulund, Bhandup, Kanjur are facing 4
hours load shedding.
It is horrible to sit in the class
room. SSC
Examination is scheduled from 10th
March. BJP
leader stated, 15 lakh people from part of
Mumbai are facing load shedding for the last
one year.
It is a pity that load shedding is
increasing year by year.
No additional generation or supply is
made available for this region.
Power rates have been increased by
40% in the last 3 years.
