BOGUS/BANGLADESHI APPLICATIONS THIS TIME

Bogus/Bangladeshi applications this time has attacked/concentrated on Thane District.  Abnormal applications for the new enrolment, registration has been received in November 2008 campaign by the Election Dept.  Dr. Kirit Somaiya, BJP leader, has demanded full-fledged inquiry and investigation and full detailed scrutiny of each and every bogus/Bangladeshi applications of Thane Dist.

 

It may be recollected that, during the August campaign, around 20 Assembly segments received abnormal applications.  1,63,000 bogus/Bangladeshi applications were rejected by the Election Commission after BJP’s demand.

 

This time, bogus/Bangladeshi applications seem to have shifted to other Assembly/areas of Thane Dist.  It is Bhiwandi West, Bhiwandi East, Thane proper, Kopri, Mumbra.  Last time the concentration was in Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Pune Districts.  This time, it is Thane Dist.
