Vikhroli killer Highway investigation and action reports should be completed before 21^st August 2008, ordered Justice S.B. Gaidhani.  During the hearing today at Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court on the complaint of Dr. Kirit Somaiya about the unusual accidents on Eastern Express Highway at Godrej junction, Police asked for more time when the Judge enquired about the progress of the investigation and action.  69 witnesses have been examined by the Mumbai Police till now. 

Adv. Jitendra Sharma, Advocate for Dr. Somaiya, drew the attention of the Court that the investigation which has started after the complaint was filed, is likely to damage evidence.

The Court warned the Police to see that importance evidences are not tampered with.  The complainant, Dr. Somaiya, mentioned that Ganpati festival is starting on 3^rd Sept. and report and action be taken before that.  The Court asked the Police to expedite the work of investigation and submit the report at the next hearing on 21^st August. 

The Police also intimated the Court that FIR has been filed.  It is also understood that the Directors of Zoom VACPL Ltd. have applied for anticipatory bail in the higher Court.
