Bangladeshi-bogus voters have
started getting place in the voters list.
BJP leader, Dr. Kirit Somaiya expressed
shocking surprise that such
Bangladeshi-bogus voters names have appeared
in the Housing Society formed by BARC
scientists.
Rohini is the Housing Society
in Sector 9, Vashi, which is now part of
Belapur Assembly. Eligible voters are
around 60. The Society belongs to BARC
scientists’ families.
Voters list published by the
Election Commission shows names of
Bangladeshi-bogus voters as residents of
Rohini Society. In spite of repeated
request by the residents, scientists of this
Society, one of them had been the Secretary
to Govt. of India, nothing has been done
till now.
In the recently published
voters list of 151 Belapur Assembly in Part
No.17, none of the residents of Rohini
Society names appeared under “Rohini
Society”. Instead, names of 97
Bangladeshi-bogus voters have appeared at
the same place. In Part No.17 Serial No.
280 – Attar Ruksana - to Serial No.376 –
Koya Hassan – are Bangladeshi-bogus voters.
Dr. Somaiya has once again
urged the Election Commission to take strong
action to delete the names of
Bangladeshi-bogus voters and also stop
further infiltration in the voters list. |
