First time in India, a
political activist has introduced the most
modern and voter friendly Helpline. Dr.
Kirit Somaiya’s Helpline No.
67824700 started today with “Search” mode.
The residents of North East Mumbai can get
details of their names, voters Serial
Number, Part Number, name of the Polling
Station where they have go for voting.
The Helpline also provides
assistance to young voters who have
completed 18 years of age, i.e. born before
1.1.1991, to get themselves enrolled as
voter.
Dr. Somaiya’s Helpline also
provides assistance to the new residents to
get themselves enrolled as voters.
The Election Commission has
opened the Voters Registration Centres at
Polling Centres in Mumbai and Maharashtra.
Matadaar Bano campaign will go upto 24th
November. Dr. Somaiya has appealed to the
voters to check their voter serial number
and status of Photo ID.
The first time voter has to
fill up Form 6. For Photo ID, citizens are
required to fill up Forms 1A and 1B.

Meanwhile, BJP has launched a
unique Matadaar Sampark campaign in North
East Mumbai. BJP workers are approaching
all the voters and giving them voter
letter/voter card showing details of the
family members shown in the voters list. |
