MUMBAI: Fresh Bangladeshi 'Akraman' - Encroachment at Shivaji Nagar, Mumbai.  400 Families arrived this week.  The erection of Shanties / Kachha Zopada were going on rapidly at Indira Nagar, Bainganwadi, Govandi, Near 90 Feet Road, BMC Dumping Yard.

BJP Leader Dr. Kirit Somaiya, Anil Thakur & Sharad Kamble visited this area on Friday, 17th October, taken photographs and witness the ongoing erection / encroachment.

Indira Nagar, Shanti Nagar, Adarsh Nagar are the recent Bangladeshi encroachment accommodating around 2000 families i.e. 12000 people.

BJP demanded immediate action from Mumbai Police, Collector & BMC.

Adarsh Nagar & Shanti Nagar - Encroachment of 2008.  More than 1600 families have been brought to Shivaji Nagar, Mumbai during 2007-08 and settled here by the slum based political lords.  Getting them Ration Cards and to get included their names in Voter List are the main priority of these slum political lords.
